Join the Adult Ed Community

Funded by a grant from the Florida Department of Education, our program provides affordable enrollment options for students. We partner with local organizations, including the Migrant Farmworker Program, CareerSource, and the Educational Opportunity Center, to offer financial aid to qualifying participants.

Our Adult Education Program assists local residents and newcomers in achieving their goals, whether obtaining a GED® or enhancing English language skills to unlock further educational and career opportunities.

We offer two primary courses: GED® Preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL). Both programs feature various scheduling options, including in-person, morning, evening, and online classes. Additionally, we provide Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs for qualifying students, ensuring a seamless transition into the workforce. Our dedicated staff, many of whom are bilingual and include program graduates, brings valuable experience to help students navigate their educational journey.

English as a Second Language

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is designed to help non-native speakers improve their English language skills through structured lessons focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening. These programs often cater to various proficiency levels and aim to enhance the students’ integration into English-speaking environments.

Workforce Preparation

Workforce Preparation Through Integrated Education and Training

At PÕ¾ÊÓƵ, we proudly offer various IET programs that provide college-level courses tailored to specific career paths. Our adult education program includes dual enrollment opportunities, allowing students to access courses such as the Commercial Driver’s License, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, and the College Credit Certificate programs in Business Specialist and Preschool Instruction. The College Credit Certificate programs, exclusive to our GED® students, consist of two semesters of college-level classes, providing students with 12 college credit hours that can apply to an associate’s degree upon completion. These programs are aligned with the high-demand job markets in the Treasure Coast area, equipping our students for success beyond their adult education experience.

At PÕ¾ÊÓƵ, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers individuals to achieve their educational and career aspirations. Our Adult Education Program is not just about acquiring skills; it’s about building a pathway to a brighter future. We invite you to join us in this journey, where our experienced staff and comprehensive programs will guide you every step of the way. Together, we can unlock new opportunities and create a stronger community for all.

Adult Education offers an Integrated Education and Training (IET) Program where students can earn industry certifications and prepare for the workforce while completing their English or GED Prep course.

Flexible Scheduling

We offer a variety of schedules and modalities to accommodate our students. In-person classes are available in the mornings and evenings, and our program also offers online courses.

“I love my class. I am improving my pronunciation and the teacher encourages us to work together so we have the opportunity to meet other people who have moved to this country. We are improving our English every day.”
